Seattle Police

A few months ago, I had a conversation with someone where I was reminded of a few people who wish for my blog and YouTube channel to become popular and they want me to promote my blog or get an exposure. They like some of the things I have written that disproves the conspiracy theory and wish more people know about it. I think only a few thousand people know about my blog and YouTube channel. As of April 2025, this blog has over 19,000 views. I estimate some viewers may have returned to read my posts more than once. Therefore I think there's only a few thousand people who have checked my blog.

Even today the conspiracy theory is well known. I can understand why they would want me to promote my blog. Some sound like they want me to take a lead against the conspiracy theory. However, I think it is the Seattle Police who should take the lead to disprove or debunk the conspiracy theory. Not me or anyone else. The main reason why the conspiracy theory still exists is due to the Seattle Police failure to address it and clarify any doubts the theorists and the public has. For example, they often give the reason of drug tolerance to disprove the claim that Cobain would be unable to shoot himself under the influence of drugs. However, I never found any article or video where the Seattle Police explain what drug tolerance is and why it disproves the claim. In case some people are wondering, drug tolerance prevents the drug to work on the body. The Seattle Police are saying that Cobain took heroin but he had a high drug tolerance which prevented the drug to work. Therefore he didn't get high or got incapacitated and was in a normal state before he took his own life.

I also think the media has some fault for failing to share the information of what both sides have to say. For example, the Wikipedia article of Cobain's death didn't write about Dr. Donald Reay's statement of the drug tolerance even though it writes about the lethal dose statement of Tom Grant and Dr. Cyril Wecht. All of them (Dr. Reay, Dr. Wecht and Tom Grant) gave their respective statements in the same episode of Unsolved Mysteries but the article didn't write about Dr. Reay's statement. And for those who don't know, Dr. Reay was the chief medical examiner who did Cobain's autopsy.

(For your information, I was writing the above paragraph on 9th April 2025. If in the future Wikipedia added Dr. Reay's statement then know that it wasn't there when I read it then.)

That being said I also acknowledge that the Seattle Police had made some statements that were rather unprofessional. For example, it's reported that they claim Cobain took heroin minutes before he took his own life and that he used the syringes found in the box. The problem with this statement is that there is another statement where they claim Cobain had cleaned his syringes after using it. This conflicts with the statement where he took his own life shortly after taking heroin. I think they need to rectify any incorrect or wrong statements and information they have provided to the public and have reported in their files.

Everyone who know or discover about Cobain would eventually learn about the conspiracy theory. And when they read what the theorists say and what the responses of the Seattle Police are they end up having doubts about the official verdict and begin supporting the conspiracy theory.

I also acknowledge that some experts who are not affiliated with the Seattle Police are another reason why people support the theory. I am sure that there's a difference between a person who died from heroin overdose and a person who was incapacitated with heroin shortly before getting murdered. People who die from an overdose would live for a number of hours before they pass away. During that time the elimination half-life would work in their body to reduce the amount of the drug in blood. However, people who were killed may have a different test result. I don't know where the source of the claim that 0.5mg/L of morphine in blood indicates a lethal dose comes from. What I do know is that the claim is made from the study of people who died from heroin overdose and not from people who were murdered shortly after getting incapacitated by heroin.

To be fair, I understand that not all of us are born with every knowledge that exists in this world. And if anyone made a mistake or a miscalculation then we shouldn't be harsh on them. But I also think it's important they acknowledge where they were wrong. Some people I met in the past didn't want to agree with me when I told them that 1.52mg is not equal to 1.52ml. They also didn't want to agree that the average heroin addict would consume between 300mg-500mg of heroin (intravenously) thinking that's equal to 3 to 5 shots of heroin (they mistake a 100 unit syringe to be equal to 100ml. A 100 unit syringe is equal to 1ml.). They think I am fabricating this information. It's surprising that most people who support the theory don't understand the measurements and claim that Cobain was given 3 times the lethal dose. For those in doubt, you can do an online research about it or get a scale and measure liquids in grams yourself to test and see if I am right or wrong. You will find what is 500ml is measured as 500gm.

It is fine to make a mistake as long as you learn from it, take responsibility for it and admit it to others. And of course, do your best to not to repeat them. People shouldn't be merciless towards you. However, if you refuse to acknowledge your mistake and insist you are right when you are not then that's wrong. And then of course people will have a problem with you. I say this to everyone, whether you are from the Seattle Police Department who worked on this case or a fan who supports the theory. Anyone.

Point is, with the current public information about Cobain's death the conspiracy theory will continue to be supported by anyone who has a doubt. The Seattle Police should gather all questions and doubts the theorists have and answer them. They don't need to answer them immediately. They should study the case and learn whatever they need to know before giving the answers. I think it is their responsibility and duty to clarify any doubts the public has about the case. And yes, if there's evidence that implies Cobain was murdered then they should check it out and verify if it supports the murder theory or not. Whatever questions they answer I hope they share it publicly so that fans can understand why the official verdict is suicide.

Anyway, I think some people may still question me and ask why I don't want to take the lead against the conspiracy theory. I'll give my answer here.

Personally I don't want to be deeply involved in the Cobain Case. First reason is that I prefer my life to be simple. Second reason is that I live in India, a country far away from where this case is from. Third reason is I am not an expert in the fields of law, criminal investigation, science, biology, pharmacy and forensics. Therefore, whatever I say cannot legally and officially prove how Cobain died.

And the last reason is something I think I have to explain in length. I considered keeping quiet about it but I think I should be honest to all of you.

The last reason is I have developed some complex feelings towards Kurt Cobain and his fans and admirers after being accused of working under Courtney and receiving some racist comments and a couple of threats. Writing about him, listening to his music or engaging in anything related to Cobain puts me in a bad mood. I begin to feel irritation, anger and repulsion whenever I see or hear anything related to Cobain. I think I had talked about this before and some people wonder why I feel this way. The only explanation I can think of is that I am aware that those people said those hurtful things to me out of their love for Cobain. The fact that they said those things to me because of their love for Cobain is making me resent the idea to look at him fondly. It's complicated but that's the way it is for me. I usually take breaks from Nirvana and Kurt Cobain and that helps me become calm for a period of time. Right now, I am calm and I prefer to write new posts and contents when I am in this state. When the feelings of repulsion returns I take a break. This has caused me to be rather inactive and makes me unfit to be someone to lead against the conspiracy theory. Someone who is active and can be present to talk about this case is more recommended. However, ultimately the Seattle Police hold the decisive power over Cobain's case. And they are the ones who should be taking the lead against the conspiracy theorists.

And I would also like to say that I am aware that the conspiracy theorists have accused people from their own country and of the same race as themselves to be working under Courtney such as the Seattle Police and the late medical examiner Dr. Nikolas Hartshorne. However, they had an issue with me because I am from India. That is why I consider them to be racist. I am aware that not every fan and murder theorist of Kurt Cobain is racist.

And to those people who tell me I shouldn't talk about Kurt Cobain or the Cobain Case because I don't like Kurt Cobain... I want to tell you that most of you don't like Courtney Love and yet all of you talk about her. I will say that if you can't practice what you preach then you should shut up.

Regardless of what my feelings are, I decided to continue keeping this blog and my YouTube channel to share my analysis of the murder theory with the main purpose to explain why I don't support the theory, to clear some facts which I find to be incorrect, misleading or miscalculated and to prevent any innocent person to be blamed for something they are not guilty of.

And no, I don't mind people sharing whatever I write here. You can share any information I have given here. You can also tell the Seattle Police about this blog or my channel and ask them questions about the things I have written. Know that they have to validate the information I have given before they can consider it to be relevant to the case. And again, it's the Seattle Police who hold the strength to disprove the conspiracy theory. Their past statements which create doubts is the main reason why the conspiracy theory exists. They must answer the questions of the public and the conspiracy theorists and clear their doubts.

To summarize:
  • The conspiracy theory continues to exist and is supported by many fans.
  • The reason why it still exists is because of the failure of the Seattle Police to address the conspiracy theory and clear the doubts the public and the theorists have regarding the death of Kurt Cobain.
  • The Seattle Police needs to rectify some of their statements which have errors and update this case's files if it contains any misinformation or errors.
  • The Seattle Police should answer any questions the theorists have which weren't answered before. All the questions that were answered should be made public and accessible for fans interested in Cobain and the conspiracy theory.
  • A few people wish for me to lead against the conspiracy theory. I have my personal reasons to not to fulfil that wish.
  • I do not mind when people share and talk about the information I have provided in my blog and YouTube channel. They can also discuss what I have written about the Cobain Case with the Seattle Police. But know that they need validate the information before they can apply it in the Cobain Case.
  • Ultimately the Seattle Police are the only ones who can disprove the conspiracy theory. Not me or anyone else.
