The Syringes in the Box
It's been a while.
I have written about this on this post a few years ago and decided to write about it here in detail.
At the scene where Cobain's body was found there was a box. The box contained black tar heroin, a spoon, two syringes and other drug paraphernalia. In 2014, the Seattle police developed photos from unused rolls of film. Below is one of photos that was developed. It is about the box I mentioned.
When I first found this image, I zoomed in to get a better look at the syringes. My phone displayed a poor quality of the image and it blurred when I zoomed in. Later I got a new phone and now I am able to see it clearly. I agree with the fans and theorists who say that the syringes look unused. I doubt Cobain used them. It looks perfectly clean as if new or unused. Personally I think he took heroin in a different location. I estimate he took heroin between 6 to 24 hours before he died (Read this to learn why.). It's even possible that the last time he took heroin was between 40 to 48 hours before his death.
Therefore, I don't agree with the Seattle police's statement that Cobain took his own life within a few minutes after taking heroin. It's more likely he took his own life hours after taking the drug. He was reported to have been seen at a restaurant on 3rd April 1994. This is the last reported sighting of him which is credible. We don't know where he was on 4th April 1994. He's estimated to have died on 5th April 1994.
The main point I am trying to make is that there is a possibility that Cobain took heroin at a different location from where his body was discovered and the syringes found in the box were not used by him to take heroin. This is why the syringes are clean. They weren't used.
